10064 is the correct, current EPA specification DOS (Dioctyl Sebacate) diffusion oil for use in PM2.5 WINS Impactors. The oiled filter in the impactor well traps the larger particles, and must be replaced frequently. The old Dow 704 silicone oil is known to crystallize under certain conditions, and has subsequently been discontinued for this application. We package the scientific research-grade DOS oil in two convenient amounts for WINS applications.
