Electronics Engineer

Independent Contractor, $70-$100 per hour depending on experience

We are looking for an electronics engineer on an as-needed independent contractor basis. This position will sustain and improve existing PCB hardware and firmware for production release. Experience with programming Arduino CPU modules, graphic displays and user interfaces, and datalogging is required. Experience in collecting and processing data parameters from analog and digital sensors for ambient temperature, barometric pressure, and scaled airflow is important. This is a US-based remote or semi-remote opportunity, with occasional in-person meetings being necessary. Candidates must have their own development tools, and be able to schedule and self-direct all activities in an efficient manner.

CFD Flow Simulation Software Specialist

Independent Contractor, $50-$80 per hour depending on experience

We currently have a backlog of multiple projects requiring CFD Computational Fluid Dynamics software simulations. This typically involves simulating the collection efficiency of dust particles of various sizes entering air sampling inlets in ambient air, and preparing reports and graphs which we will compare to actual lab results. There is a significant possibility for follow-up projects. This is a remote opportunity, with online meetings being necessary. Candidates must have access to appropriate CFD software, and be able to schedule and self-direct activities in an efficient manner. Experience is more important than degrees.
