Description

A markable black version of our EPA specification 47mm filter cassettes for use in most air particulate sampler brands. Our FC47NCB black filter cassettes deviate from our standard EPA specification filter cassettes only by the color of the plastic parts. This allows the possibility of color coding your sample filters, such as using different color cassettes to keep PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ samples separate. Black Delrin plastic can also be laser marked with serial numbers or other identification, unlike standard white Delrin. This provides ultimate traceability and keeps the top and bottom parts matched together as a set. Custom matching laser marking of both plastic parts and the stainless steel screen disc is available for a nominal fee, otherwise only the screen disc is marked with standard Alaric branding and a serial number. The screen markings can be optionally deleted upon request. Filter cassette transport cans are sold separately.

These filter cassettes are manufactured to US EPA 40 CFR Part 50 specifications, and are compatible with air samplers from all manufacturers and brands that use standard EPA type filter cassettes. These cassettes are not compatible with Thermo Scientific Partisol® 2000i or 2025i samplers, which use slightly different filter cassettes with a chamfer angle on the top inside edge.
