Model 10191 is a high quality miniature 5 L/min particulate impactor inlet designed to trap particles larger than the rated PM cut point, while allowing all of the smaller particulate through to the air particulate sampler or monitoring instrument.
Description
Model 10191 is a high quality miniature 5 L/min particulate impactor inlet designed to trap particles larger than the rated PM cut point, while allowing all of the smaller particulate through to the air particulate sampler or monitoring instrument. The design of the inlet is based on the full size EPA pattern 16.7 L/min PM10 inlet and WINS Impactor scientific design model, but at a much smaller 7.5 inch (190 mm) size for use on compact 5.0 L/min particulate samplers and other air monitoring instruments. This inlet is also compatible with our modular external filter cassette holders for configuring your own custom air sampling setup.
The internal impactor nozzle is replaceable, allowing the impactor inlet to be configured for PM10, PM2.5, PM1, or TSP sampling by simply replacing the nozzle. The bottom sockets are also replaceable and can be supplied in several different diameters for maximum sampler compatibility. We designed this inlet with a solid machined upper funnel monobody and wind cone instead of thin sheet metal parts, making it vastly stronger than any other inlet in this class. We also offer replacement parts, allowing damaged inlets to be economically repaired.
