Description

Chamfered 47mm filter cassettes are an excellent aftermarket replacement for the blue injection molded plastic filter cassettes. These cassettes are machined from the same white Delrin acetal rod as our standard EPA-spec cassettes, with the addition of a large chamfer angle on the inside top edge to fit with the protrusion on the filter cassette holder in Thermo Scientific Partisol® 2000i or 2025i samplers and older R&P® samplers. The blue injection molded plastic filter cassettes used in these samplers are well-known for cracking and leaking, and our chamfered cassettes are intended as an aftermarket upgrade replacement.

Our 47mm filter cassettes are manufactured in the USA, and have become an industry standard worldwide. The cassettes are CNC machined from solid Delrin acetal polymer to precise tolerances for a consistent leakproof fit. The assembly includes a precision stainless steel screen disc, with a laser-marked brand and serial number on the bottom side for optimal traceability. Custom laser marking is available for a nominal fee, and the laser markings can be optionally deleted. Note: Filter cassette transport cans are sold separately. The old set part number FC47P including the transport can is still available for the same price as ordering the cassette and transport can as separate line items.
