Description

Leak test cassette tools for use in FRM reference method filter samplers. Anyone who has operated an FRM particulate sampler knows it can be difficult to find a flow system leak in the field, especially during a short filter change window. Our model LTC kit contains a set of two precision Delrin leak test cassettes, each machined as a solid piece with the same outside profile and thickness of a standard loaded 47mm filter cassette assembly. The “open” tool has a hole through it and allows the entire flow path to be leak tested, and the “closed” tool has no hole and isolates the lower section of the flow path during leak testing. This allows the site technician to quickly identify if a flow system leak is located above the filter cassette, below the filter cassette, or in the sample cassette itself. No more guessing or glued together test cassettes.

These tools work in all brands of particulate samplers that use 47mm filter cassettes, including sequential samplers. Detailed instructions are included.

Note: This kit does not include the old-style rubber membrane leak test cassette, which is still available separately.
