Description

(Beta Release) Idonium MPS-1 our new mini particulate sampler that includes the same pump module and electronics as our full size MPS-2 sampler, in an even smaller and lower-cost external filter cassette holder configuration. MPS-1 is capable of operating at either 5.0 L/min or 16.7 L/min flow rates. When operated at 5.0 L/min, the sampler uses our model 10191 miniature PM₁₀ impactor inlet with configurable nozzles for PM₁₀, PM_2.5, or PM1 cut points. Power consumption in the standard 5 L/min configuration is extremely low, making remote or high-altitude deployment very practical. When operated at 16.7 L/min, the sampler uses a full-size EPA pattern PM₁₀ inlet, and can be equipped with an optional PM_2.5 cyclone. The configuration can easily be changed as needed by simply changing the inlet stack components and changing the flow setting. TSP inlets are also available.

The modular design incorporates a quiet 50,000 hour vacuum pump module that generates no heat inside the main enclosure, and contains no plastic tubing or hose fittings for extremely low leak potential. High quality flow, temperature, and pressure sensors monitor ambient and filter conditions throughout the sample and standby intervals. This new product is currently in limited beta release.
