Description
Properly made 47mm filter cassettes are usually too tight to easily open by hand, and this tool is the solution. A common cause of filter cassette failure is from the plastic stretching and wearing due to repeated opening and closing cycles. Our professional, lab-grade model FCT Filter Cassette Opening Tool is designed to minimize this by separating the two halves of the cassette straight apart along the axis, not by wedging them apart from the edge. The black activation knob can also be adjusted to allow a range of control over how far the cassette parts are separated. These are made from laser-cut anodized aircraft aluminum with polished edges, and work with all 47mm filter cassettes from all manufacturers.
